City of Lansing seeks public input on potential community recreation center

Lansing, MI – The City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department is gathering community feedback as it explores the possibility of developing a future community recreation center.

Officials said the study aims to identify the types of spaces, programs, and amenities that would best serve residents.

At this stage, no decisions have been made regarding funding or whether the project will move forward.

The city is encouraging residents to participate in a public survey to help guide future discussions and planning efforts.

The online survey will remain open through April 25, 2026.
