DeWitt Police Seek Help in Identifying Suspect in Identity Theft and Credit Card Fraud Case

LANSING, Mich. – Authorities in DeWitt are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an identity theft and credit card fraud incident. According to the DeWitt Township Police Department, the alleged crime took place at a Home Depot store on February 25, 2025.

Police say the suspect used fraudulent credit card information to make unauthorized purchases. In an effort to track down the individual responsible, the department turned to social media, posting a request for assistance on Facebook.

“Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the DeWitt Township Police Department at 517-669-6578,” a police spokesperson stated. “Your tips could help us bring this individual to justice.”

As the investigation continues, authorities are asking anyone who might have witnessed the incident or who recognizes the suspect from surveillance footage to come forward. The police also remind residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
