Lansing, MI – The City of Lansing, Michigan, announced that Fish Ladder Music Park has been recognized as a Park Design Award winner at the mParks Conference.
The project was a collaborative effort involving VIRIDIS Design Group, the Capital Region Community Foundation, and Lansing Parks and Recreation. Officials said the park represents a vibrant and innovative addition to the city’s riverfront in Old Town.
With warmer weather arriving, the park is entering its first full season and is expected to host a variety of music, community, and wellness events. Visitors can also enjoy scenic views along the riverfront, including seating areas such as swing benches.
City leaders credited community members and event planners for their input throughout the design process, noting the project reflects ongoing efforts to enhance and transform the Lansing riverfront.
