Four Injured in Kalamazoo Shooting, Suspect Still at Large

Kalamazoo, MI— At least four people were injured in a shooting Tuesday evening in Kalamazoo, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety received reports of gunfire in the area of 4200 W. Main St. around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located four victims who had sustained injuries. The victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, officials have confirmed that all four individuals are expected to recover from their injuries.

As of Wednesday morning, the suspect remains at large, and police have not released any information regarding their identity or whereabouts. Authorities are also withholding a description of the suspect.

The Kalamazoo Police Criminal Investigation Division is currently leading the investigation and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted to the division at 269-337-8139.
