A Michigan Trooper Notices a Swan That Has Ran Afoul of the Roadside | Latest News!

Although it wasn’t the type of incident that Michigan State Police are used to seeing on Metro Detroit roads, the rescue was successful.

A trooper from the Metro-North post in Oak Park was on patrol during the Monday morning rush hour when he observed a swan standing on the shoulder of Interstate 696, the agency stated on Twitter.

The swan was rescued by a Michigan State Police trooper.
MSP said, “He was able to get the swan into a bag and deliver the swan to the post.” “A swan rescue is on its way!”

Troopers took pictures of the white-feathered bird on the grass in front of the post.

According to MSP First Lt. Michael Shaw, the swan has already been handed to a rescue group.
