Jackson Police Investigate Homicide on Orchard Place

Lansing, Mich. — The Jackson Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday night in the 900 block of Orchard Place. Authorities say they were called to the residence for a welfare check around 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 45-year-old John Lusch of Marshall.

According to investigators, Lusch had visited the home earlier in the day on Sunday, where he was reportedly confronted by several individuals inside the residence. Police believe that during this confrontation, Lusch was shot multiple times. His death has been ruled a homicide.

The Jackson Police Department has identified four suspects in connection with the crime. Additionally, several persons of interest were secured by officers during the execution of a search warrant at the property. However, authorities have not disclosed the identities or potential connections of these individuals to Lusch.
