Lansing, MI – A remarkable weekend of crime-fighting unfolded in Lansing, where K9 Ace and his handler, Officer Ali Cutler, played a crucial role in apprehending suspects involved in stolen vehicles.

The pair had a successful track over the weekend, leading officers through more than half a mile of frigid terrain in pursuit of three stolen vehicle suspects. Despite the cold temperatures, K9 Ace demonstrated remarkable skill and determination in following the scent trail, ultimately leading to the suspects’ capture.

The dedicated efforts of Ace and Officer Cutler resulted in the suspects being taken into custody by Lansing Police, ensuring the safety of the community and the successful resolution of the case.

As a reward for his hard work, K9 Ace was treated to a photo session by the State Christmas Tree, a fitting end to a busy and successful weekend. The Lansing Police Department expressed their gratitude to Ace, sharing a post on Facebook that read, “Thank you Ace for being an amazing asset to the LPD team and to the Lansing community! Keep up the great work!”

K9 Ace’s actions highlight the invaluable role of police dogs in law enforcement, especially in high-pressure situations where their tracking abilities can make all the difference.
