Lansing Man Injured in Overnight Stabbing

LANSING, Mich. – A man was injured in an overnight stabbing on Friday, February 21, in Lansing. The incident occurred in the 600 block of S. Pennsylvania Avenue, where first responders were called to the scene shortly after the attack.

According to Sgt. Corey Campbell with the Lansing Police Department, authorities arrived to find a 30-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, his condition remains undisclosed, with no updates provided regarding his status.

While police have not yet located a suspect, they assured the public there is no ongoing threat. Authorities have launched an investigation and are working to gather more information. A canine tracking team was brought to the scene in an effort to trace the suspect’s movements. Additionally, surveillance footage from a nearby business provided police with valuable suspect information.
