Lansing police cite driver clocked at 83 mph in 35 mph zone

Lansing, MI – Lansing police cited a driver after officers recorded a vehicle traveling 83 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone, according to the Lansing Police Department.

Police said the violation was detected by the department’s traffic unit.

The department noted that the excessive speed occurred during snowy conditions, which increase the risk of crashes and injuries.
