Lansing Police Investigate Fatal Shooting; One Dead, One Injured

Lansing, MI — A fatal shooting on Sunday night left one man dead and another injured, prompting an investigation by Lansing Police. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of Belle Chase Blvd.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. A 36-year-old man was rushed to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, a 25-year-old man, was also transported to a local hospital but is expected to make a full recovery, according to police.

Authorities have taken a person of interest into custody and recovered multiple firearms from the scene. While the investigation is still ongoing, police have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances of the shooting.
