Lansing Police Investigate Shooting, One Injured

LANSING, MI – Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that left one person injured Thursday afternoon in Lansing. Police responded to the 3500 block of Coachlight Common Street around noon following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a leg injury. In addition, a U-Haul van at the scene was discovered to have multiple bullet holes on its side. While investigators have not confirmed whether the man was directly shot, they have stated that his injury is not life-threatening.

No suspects have been apprehended, and police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to determine the events leading up to the shooting.

At this time, the investigation remains ongoing.
