Lansing Police Locate Missing Children Safe and Sound

Lansing, MI — The Lansing Police Department (LPD) has confirmed the safe return of two children who had been reported missing earlier this week. The children, a 10-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, were last seen near Michigan Ave. and Clemens Ave. on the city’s south side.

According to the LPD, both children have been safely returned to their families, and there are no reports of injury. Authorities had been actively searching for the pair after they were last seen earlier in the day wearing distinct clothing.

The boy, described as a 10-year-old white male with blonde hair, was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with snowflakes and a camo jacket at the time of his disappearance. The girl, a 10-year-old biracial female, was last seen in a purple polka dot coat, mint green sweater, and blue jeans.

The Lansing Police expressed gratitude to the community for their assistance and shared relief that the children have been safely reunited with their families. At this time, no further details have been released regarding the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
