LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects and solving several ongoing criminal cases in the greater Lansing area. Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest, and tips can be made anonymously.
The following incidents are under investigation:

Robbery on the 900 Block of West Holmes Road
On January 5, two female suspects were involved in a robbery on the 900 block of West Holmes Road. The women fled the scene in a small black Kia SUV. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the vehicle to come forward. -
Illegal Dumping Complaint on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
Lansing police are seeking help identifying a person involved in an illegal dumping incident that took place on January 31, on the 500 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the act or has relevant information to contact Crime Stoppers. -
Attempted Grand Theft Auto on the 900 Block of West Holmes Road
On January 28, at approximately 2:43 p.m., two individuals attempted to steal a vehicle on the 900 block of West Holmes Road. The suspects broke into the vehicle before attempting to drive away. Police are looking for any information that could lead to the identification of the suspects involved. -
Burglary on the 5900 Block of South Pennsylvania Avenue
A burglary occurred on February 25 around noon on the 5900 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue. Lansing police are seeking information from the public regarding the suspect involved in this crime. -
Wanted Suspect: Cory Alan Leffingwell
The Lansing Police Department is also searching for Cory Alan Leffingwell, who is wanted on a criminal bench warrant related to a fraud offense. Leffingwell is described as being 6’3″, weighing 195 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers.
