LANSING, Mich. — A multi-vehicle crash led to the closure of a portion of Martin Luther King Blvd. in South Lansing on Thursday night, leaving several people injured and emergency responders working at the scene.
At approximately 8:33 p.m., authorities issued an alert notifying residents that Martin Luther King Blvd. was closed between Cavanaugh Rd. and Vincent Ct. due to the crash. First responders, including police, fire, and EMS teams from multiple jurisdictions, quickly arrived on the scene to assist those involved.
When 6 News arrived at the location, they observed five damaged vehicles. However, witnesses on the scene reported that as many as six vehicles may have been involved in the incident. Several individuals were seen being loaded into ambulances and transported to the hospital for treatment, though the extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
