LANSING, Mich. — A two-vehicle crash on the east side of Lansing Thursday night left one person injured. According to a sergeant with the Lansing Police Department, the incident occurred around 8:38 p.m. at the intersection of E. Saginaw St. and Johnson Ave.
Responding officers found a car with severe front-end damage and a van with significant side damage. Three of the four lanes on Saginaw St. were closed for an extended period as emergency responders worked at the scene.
The injured person’s condition has not been confirmed, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police have not released further details about the individuals involved or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Motorists in the area were advised to seek alternate routes as cleanup and investigation continued late into the evening. The Lansing Police Department is asking anyone with information about the crash to contact local authorities.
