Teen Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on I-96 in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. — A teenager was struck and killed by a vehicle on westbound I-96 in Lansing Friday evening.

According to Lansing Police Sgt. Ryan Lawrence, officers were dispatched to the scene near South Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at approximately 8:17 p.m. The teen, who was on foot at the time, was hit by a passing vehicle.
