Tommy’s Express Offers Free Car Washes to Help Lansing Residents Kickstart Spring Cleaning

LANSING, Mich. – In an effort to help community members jump-start their spring cleaning, Tommy’s Express Car Wash provided a unique opportunity for local residents this past Sunday. For four hours, all Tommy’s Express locations across Lansing offered free car washes, vacuums, and mat washers, giving drivers a chance to freshen up their vehicles without spending a dime.

The event, which took place on a sunny Sunday afternoon, was designed to encourage people to take care of their cars as part of the seasonal transition from winter to spring. As snow and slush from the colder months begin to fade away, residents are often eager to clean up their homes and vehicles in preparation for warmer weather.

Sydnee Dennis, a representative from Tommy’s Express, explained the thinking behind the initiative. “I feel like after being in your house all winter, you kind of come out and clean through all the stuff you didn’t really feel like doing when it was cold outside,” Dennis said. “So, I feel like it’s a way to do it with your car.”

The event proved to be a popular one, with cars lining up throughout the day to take advantage of the free services. Many locals seemed grateful for the chance to tackle tasks that may have been postponed due to winter’s harsh conditions.

Tommy’s Express hopes that the event not only provides a helpful service but also strengthens its relationship with the Lansing community. With spring now in full swing, it’s clear that Tommy’s Express has successfully helped many residents take the first step toward a fresher, cleaner season.
