Two Arrested in Calhoun County for Alleged Break-In and Theft

Lansing, MI — Two people were arrested in connection with a break-in and theft at a building in Homer on Monday evening.

Michigan State Police were called to the scene just before 9 p.m. on South Hillsdale Street near Plain Street, where they discovered signs of forced entry. Troopers found an open door at the location, which appeared to have been broken into. Footprints in the snow led them to a nearby residence, prompting an immediate investigation.

Authorities obtained a search warrant for the home and located the two suspects, who were arrested on the spot. Several stolen items were recovered during the search. The identities of the suspects have not been released at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing, with law enforcement continuing to piece together details of the crime.
