Multi-Vehicle Crash on US-127 Near Michigan Ave. Overpass Leaves One Injured

LANSING, Mich. — A crash involving a truck, SUV, and van on US-127 northbound before the Saginaw exit resulted in one person being injured and traffic disruptions Monday afternoon.

According to witnesses at the scene, the accident unfolded when an SUV collided with a Consumers Energy van. The force of the crash caused both vehicles to spin out of control, with the van ultimately striking a work truck that had been parked on the side of the road.

One person involved in the crash was transported to the hospital after being treated at the scene and taken by stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.

Emergency responders quickly arrived, and the northbound lanes of US-127 were reduced to one lane as authorities worked to clear the wreckage. Despite the reduced lane availability, traffic has reportedly been moving steadily, with no further delays expected.

The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
