Lansing Police Investigate Shooting on Roosevelt Avenue

LANSING, Mich. — Lansing police are investigating a shooting that left one man hospitalized in critical condition on Monday afternoon.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1400 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Upon arrival, authorities located a car believed to be involved in the shooting at the intersection of West Willow and Grand River Avenue.

Inside the vehicle, police discovered a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
