Crime Stoppers Seeks Public’s Help in Lansing Shooting and Two Warrants

Lansing, MI — Authorities are calling on the public to help identify two individuals involved in a shooting that occurred early in the morning on March 3rd, 2025. The shooting took place around 4 a.m. in the 1800 block of New York Ave in Lansing.

The Lansing Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for the incident, but have not released additional details about the shooting at this time. Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan.

In addition to the ongoing investigation into the shooting, Crime Stoppers is also seeking the whereabouts of two individuals with outstanding warrants.

Dustin Wayne Colosky, 33, is wanted on a felony warrant for retail fraud in Lansing. Colosky is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes.

Dmarion Lashon Adams, 25, is wanted on a felony warrant for fraud out of East Lansing. Adams stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 142 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Both individuals are considered wanted for serious charges, and law enforcement is urging the public to come forward with any relevant information that could assist in locating them.

Those with information regarding these cases can call Crime Stoppers of Mid-Michigan at (517) 483-STOP. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for any helpful information.
