LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Township Police Department is turning to the public for help following a hit-and-run incident that left two people injured on March 4. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the intersection of West St. Joe and South Waverly Road.
According to authorities, the suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored GMC SUV, possibly from the 1992-2000 model years. The SUV is reported to have significant front-end damage, which may serve as a key detail in identifying the vehicle.
The police are urging anyone with information related to the incident or who may recognize the vehicle to come forward. Those who have seen the SUV or know its whereabouts are asked to contact Officer Greisinger or Officer Brownell at the Lansing Township Police Department by calling 517-485-1700.
