Shots Fired at Dollar General in South Lansing, No Injuries Reported

LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Police Department (LPD) responded to a shots fired call at a Dollar General store in south Lansing on Thursday evening. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the store located on South Martin Luther King Blvd. near Hughes Road.

According to the LPD, officers arrived at the scene around 7:45 p.m., where they found at least six police vehicles present. Authorities reported no injuries resulting from the shooting, and there are currently no known suspects or motives.

The police have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the public. Investigators are continuing their work to gather more information, and further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
