LANSING, Mich. – A fatal crash in Clinton County left one man dead and another seriously injured late Friday night.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on Wright Road near Kinley Road in Lebanon Township at approximately 11:55 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered a vehicle that had gone off the road and struck a tree, trapping both occupants inside.
The driver, a 28-year-old man from Perrinton, was transported to U of M Health-Sparrow Hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the passenger, a 47-year-old man from Maple Rapids, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. The names of the individuals involved have not been released at this time.
