LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is advising drivers of temporary closures on northbound US-127 in Lansing this Sunday, April 27, as crews work to install sign covers.
According to MDOT, the closures will take place between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. and involve a slow-rolling closure of the northbound lanes of the highway. During this time, several ramps will be intermittently closed to traffic, including:
-
The westbound I-96 ramp to northbound US-127
-
The Dunckel Road entrance ramp to northbound US-127
-
The Trowbridge Road entrance ramp to northbound US-127
MDOT urges motorists to plan ahead and expect some delays as workers complete the necessary installations. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes or allow extra travel time to avoid potential disruptions.
For more information, travelers can check MDOT’s website or social media channels for updates on the closures.
