Lansing Police Department seizes drugs and weapons in coordinated START team operation

Lansing, MI – The Lansing Police Department’s START team recently executed two simultaneous search warrants at separate homes, resulting in the arrest of three adults and the removal of significant illegal items from the community.

Investigators seized more than 2.5 kilograms of drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and amphetamine, along with a pill press.

Officers also recovered $4,536 in cash and a handgun.

The operation involved LPD’s Special Operations Section, K9 and Drone Units, and Michigan State Police SCP, highlighting a collaborative effort to take dangerous drugs, weapons, and stolen property off Lansing streets.
