Michigan State Police warn residents to prepare for severe and rapidly changing weather

Michigan – Michigan State Police reminded residents yesterday to stay alert as a combination of snowstorms, thunderstorms, high winds, freezing temperatures, and unusually warm conditions affected the state.

The MSP Emergency Management & Homeland Security Division encourages all residents to monitor conditions closely and prepare for rapidly changing weather. Safety tips and guidance are available on the MiReady site. 

Officials also advised following MSP/EMHSD on Facebook for updates on the State Emergency Operations Center activation and ongoing weather developments.
