Adrian Police Arrest Suspect in Stabbing Incident

LANSING, Mich. – The Adrian Police Department has arrested a man accused of stabbing a woman multiple times in a violent attack over the weekend.

On Sunday around noon, police were called to a home on the 600 block of South Winter Street in Adrian after reports of a stabbing. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a woman with multiple stab wounds. The suspect had already fled the area in a vehicle, and the woman was quickly transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities later confirmed she is in stable but critical condition.

Police began an immediate search for the suspect, focusing their efforts on tracking down the vehicle involved. Hours later, they located the car and identified the suspect’s residence in Adrian. A search warrant was obtained for the home, where the man was arrested without incident.

The suspect, whose name is being withheld at this time, is facing multiple charges, including Assault with Intent to Murder, Carrying with Unlawful Intent, and Unlawfully Driving Away an Automobile. He is currently being held in the Lenawee County Jail.

Authorities have stated that the suspect’s identity will be made public following his arraignment.
