Average gas prices drop below $2 per gallon in Lansing

The average gas price in Lansing and Michigan dropped below $2 per gallon this week.

According to AAA Michigan, the average price in the state is down 5 cents compared to last week to $1.95 per gallon. That’s also 12 cents less than this time last month and 52 cents less than this time last year.

In metro Detroit, prices are down 2 cents to $1.99 per gallon. That’s 55 cents cheaper than this time last year.
