Lansing, Mich. – A fatal crash occurred Thursday morning southwest of Charlotte, resulting in the death of a 68-year-old man from Charlotte. The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, which took place around 8:56 a.m. at the intersection of Battle Creek Highway and Ainger Road.
According to authorities, the collision involved two SUVs. The first SUV, traveling south on Battle Creek Highway, was struck by another SUV traveling north on Ainger Road. The driver of the southbound vehicle, a man from Charlotte, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, who was in the northbound SUV, sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
