Livingston County Man Questioned After Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Bicyclist

Lansing, MI – A 22-year-old man from Howell was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning while riding his bicycle home from work in Livingston County. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. in Hartland Township, near the intersection of Old US-23 and Bergin Road.

According to Michigan State Police, the victim was struck by a vehicle while riding along the road. Troopers responded to the scene and began their investigation immediately. Car parts found at the crash site helped authorities identify a suspect. Within hours, a 63-year-old man from Brighton was questioned by police in connection with the incident.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending family notification. Investigators continue to gather information and are urging anyone with knowledge about the crash to come forward.
